Masako M. Osako (大迫政子) is – Executive Director of the International Longevity Center (ILC) Global Alliance, a partnership of 14 ILCs from around the world ( www.ilc-alliance.org). The ILC Global Alliance’s mission is to help societies address issues of longevity and population aging in a positive and productive manner. Residing in the United States, Masako is active in writing and presenting on various topics involving International aging.
Prior to her position with the ILC Global Alliance, Masako has worked with the University of Illinois at Chicago, the Chicago Branch of Industrial Bank of Japan, Ltd. (currently Mizuho Bank), and Fitch Ratings, Ltd. She currently serves as Director of Satsuki-kai America (University of Tokyo Alumnae group) and also a staff member of Friends of UTokyo, Inc.
Formerly a student of the University of Tokyo (Economics Department), Ms. Osako received her B.A. in Economics from Harvard University, her MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago, and her PhD in Sociology from Northwestern University.
